Iraqi Human Rights Society – USA highly appreciates the efforts made by the new government of Iraq
Human Rights Society – USA highly appreciates the right decision and procedures made by the new government of Iraq in this critical period of time. These decisions that are made to release all the arrested rebels, to protect the rights of martyrs, to take care of the injured rebels and to protect rebels, all will help regaining the public’s trust in government.
Mr. Thamer Al Mimar, member of administrative committee of Iraq Human Rights Society – USA , made the following statement:
Iraqi people were waiting for such decisions to be made to end their misery. The people of Iraq were suffering for too long of repression, coercion, sectarianism and ethical discrimination were more than 600 rebels were killed and thousands were wounded in the rebels against corruption, unemployment, and the practices of armed militias.
We aim high on the efforts of the new government to find solutions for all domestic problems, and to cooperate with the international community in order to respect the sovereignty of Iraq, to conduct safe and early elections, to enact laws and regulations, and penalize corrupted public figures.
